Welcome to Hire KOS. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue usage.

1. Definitions

Platform / Portal: refers to Hire KOS job portal services.

User: refers to any job seeker, employer, recruiter, or visitor.

Services: include job listings, resume uploads, candidate search, job applications, alerts, and related recruitment tools.

2. Eligibility

Users must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or access the Platform under lawful authorization.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date personal or business information.
  • Use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.

3. Account Registration & Security

Users may create accounts using valid credentials.

Passwords are encrypted and stored securely.

The Platform may send mandatory Security Alerts including login anomalies, OTPs, and recovery confirmations via secure messaging services supported by providers such as Twilio or MSG91.

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of account access and activities.

4. Resume & Job Posting Guidelines

Job Seekers

  • Users may upload resumes/CVs in supported formats.
  • Uploading plagiarized, fake, harmful, or misleading documents is strictly prohibited.
  • Resumes become visible to employers only when a user applies to a job or allows profile visibility settings.

Employers / Recruiters

  • Users may post job openings for verified hiring purposes only.
  • Job posts must not contain misleading salary claims, fraudulent offers, discriminatory requirements, or unlawful instructions.
  • The platform may deploy job-matching or profile-analytics features using AI models and search enrichment supported by providers such as OpenAI, strictly to improve relevance and usability.

5. Acceptable Usage Policy

  • Post harmful, abusive, illegal, or explicit content.
  • Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or exploit any code, database, or portal content.
  • Upload malware, bots, or run unauthorized automation.
  • Misrepresent identity, company, or job details.
  • Use portal data to conduct scams, phishing, or commercial resale of profiles.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension or permanent restriction.

6. Data Privacy & Protection

User data is processed under secured infrastructure.

Traffic security and attack prevention may include services from providers like Cloudflare.

Cloud hosting, encrypted storage, and scalable database infrastructure may involve services from providers such as Amazon Web Services.

Data is retained only as long as necessary for service delivery and legal compliance.

7. Job Applications & Hiring Process

The Platform facilitates job applications but is not responsible for employer hiring decisions.

Employers are solely accountable for interview processes, background checks, job offers, and employment agreements.

We do not guarantee job placement, salary outcomes, or response timelines from employers or recruiters.

8. Payment & Subscription

Certain employer or recruiter services may include paid plans (e.g., job posting boosts, candidate database access, premium visibility).

Payments, where enabled, may be processed using secure gateways such as Razorpay or Stripe.

Subscription misuse, false chargebacks, or unauthorized payment exploitation may lead to access revocation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, UI, software logic, branding, and platform structure are protected.

Users may not copy or republish any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Accuracy of employer-provided job information.
  • Losses caused by applying to external third-party listings.
  • Missed communications, hiring outcomes, or workplace disputes.
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from platform usage.

Users interact and apply at their own discretion.

11. Third-Party Links & External Communication

The Platform may contain links to external websites, employer pages, or resources. We do not control or endorse third-party privacy or content policies.

Communication outside the Platform (calls, messages, emails, meetings, interviews) is not governed by these Terms.

12. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Policy violations
  • Fraud detection
  • System abuse
  • Repeated misinformation
  • Legal or cyber-security reporting requirements

Terminated data may be retained if required for statutory compliance or investigations.

13. Policy Modifications

These Terms may be updated anytime. Continued usage of the Platform means acceptance of revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India including data-protection principles under DPDP Act 2023. Any disputes will fall under applicable Indian jurisdiction.
